News Death Notice

O'HARA, Naomi A. "Shug" Age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:10AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 3, 1923 to Harry and Elsie (Hake) Wolke. On January 25, 1947, she married James O'Hara, Sr. in Hamilton, Ohio. Naomi retired from Pease Homes after 15 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She belonged to the Alter Rosary Society and Sterling Silvers. She was an avid Cincinnati Red's fan. Naomi was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by her husband James, three children, Terry (Diana), Jim(Debbie), and Connie (Ray) Mann; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Ray) Asher, Dee O'Hara, Anna O'Hara, Brad (Tricia) O'Hara, Mike (Jennifer) Mann, Stephanie O'Hara, and Shawna O'Hara; nine great grandchildren, Sarah, Sam, Sierra, Jay, Lindsay, Mindy, Abby, Andrew, and Mackenzie; and one sister Claire Bauer; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bob, Hank, and Ronnie Wolke and three sisters, Dorothy Duggins, LaVerne Wolpert, and Elaine Emenaker. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St., on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton.
