News Death Notice

KING, Jr. Thomas age 86, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 1, 1928 to Thomas and Lana (Trusty) King. He served his country in the USA Armed Forces during World War II. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Germantown. He worked at Armco, Diamond International and at the United States Post Office in Germantown. He loved baseball, fishing and golf. Thomas is survived by his wife of 55 years, Clara Faye King; his daughters Bonnie Paxton and Delena "Dee" Moore both of Middletown; his son Terry (Sharon) Collins of Lincoln, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his brother Merle King. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Buford and Paul King. The family would like to send a special thank you to Deanna Trimble and Hospice of the Miami Valley. Visitation will be Thursday April 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. A Military service will be held by the American Legion Honor Guard Post #214 at the cemetery. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
