News Death Notice
WILLIS, Bonnie Gay (Powers) age 73 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 23 at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. Bonnie was born May 21, 1938 in Menifee County Kentucky to Clay and Pauline (Gose) Powers. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1955. Bonnie was a top seller for Avon for over 30 years. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, baking, and collecting cookbooks. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband Glendon Willis, a brother Randal Powers, and two great grandchildren Rylee and Logan . She is survived by her mother Pauline; sons Kent (Terrie) Sorrell of Springboro, Kevin (Shirley) Sorrell of Preble County, Kirk (Sherri Deaton) Sorrell, and daughter Karen Hayes all of Middletown; her brother Rodney (Becky) Powers of Batavia; her sister-in-law Patty Powers of Springboro; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Bonnie is also survived by very special friends Mary Alice and Robbin Ulrich as well as many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, February 27, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin). Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
