News Death Notice

HERBST, Donald Robert age 25, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2. Donald was born September 5, 1986 to Pamela (Owca) Herbst in Edina, MN. Donald started a new beginning marrying Leslie Gault on 08/08/08 in Morning Sun. He was employed in Customer Service for SunBelt Rental. He had graduated from Lakota West High School (2005) and attended Miami University and also the Tennessee School of Auctioneering. He was a strong supporter of Butler County 4H Youth Program. Donald was also a member of Butler County Farm Bureau, a church member of Oxford Church of God, Cincinnati Boys Choir, and a 4-H Member. Donald was a man of the Lord and well loved in the community. Besides being devoted to his wife Leslie and daughter Hannah Noel Herbst, he loved horses, drums, singing and people. He is survived by his wife Leslie (Gault) Herbst, daughter Hannah, parents Randall and Pamela Herbst, grandparents Bob Gray, Marla Owca; siblings Austin Herbst and Rebecca Herbst,; father-in-law Greg Gault; mother-in-law Lisa Gault, nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, friends and family. Visitation will be held Monday May 7 from 6-9 pm at Morning Sun Presbyterian Church, St. Rt. 177, Morning Sun, OH. Funeral services will be on Tuesday May 8, 10:30 am at the Church with Pastor Shawn Baker officiating. Donald will be laid to rest in the Beechwood Cemetery in Morning Sun, Ohio. In the spirit of Donald as a giver, he was an organ donor giving the opportunity of life to others.
