News Death Notice
GEIS, Donald G. age 66, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012. He was born on February 22, 1946 in Connersville, Indiana, the son of Gene and Mary Lou Geis. SP4 Geis, U S Army, served His country with honor from December 13, 1965 to December 12, 1968, including one year of foreign service in Vietnam. Don was employed as a truck driver with Mitchell Transport and Home Run Trucking. He enjoyed classic cars and drag racing. Don was a member of the VFW Chuck Cain Post 7670. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Geis; wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Scarlett (Charlie) Zopfi; one son, Michael Geis; one grandson, Joshua;one sister, Mary Ann Pandergrass; two brothers, Bob Geis and Carl Geis and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Geis and one brother, Bill Geis. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the VFW Chuck Cain Post 7670, 4021 Trenton, Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.Visitation will beThursday at the Colligan Funeral Home from 12 Noon til time of service at 1:00 PM.
