News Death Notice

PECK, Maxine age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She was born November 21, 1931 to Walter and Ada (Turner) Brewer in Breathitt, KY. She was a resident of the Middletown area for 65 years and was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God for many of those years. Maxine is survived by her children, Phyllis (George) Weidner of Knoxville, TN, Danny (Pamela) Peck, Phillip (Sue) Peck and Dale Peck all of Middletown, OH; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brother, Arnold Brewer of Lexington, KY; sisters, Mattie McClanahan and Christine (Cecil) Nickel both of Middletown, OH and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Peck; her parents; sisters, Inez Gillum and Anna Brewer; brothers, Paul, William and Ova Brewer. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mitchell Burch officiating. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
