News Death Notice

SIMPSON, Charles E. 92 formerly of Lebanon, IN and Cincinnati and now residing in Lebanon, OH, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Born to Charles and Verna (nee: Bullerdick) Simpson on July 15, 1921 in Richmond, IN. Charles worked for 31 years and retired from the Department of Defense as a Contract Administrator. He is a veteran in the United States Air Force serving in WWII and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Kilwinning Lodge # 356 in Cincinnati. He joined the Masonic Lodge in 1944 in Welsh, LA while in the military. Charles was a talented musician who enjoyed playing his Trumpet. His love of Jazz music is something he shared with his dear wife, Evelyn. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Gladys Huber and Bernice Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (nee: Johnson) Simpson of Lebanon, one daughter, Linda (Michael) Weisenborn of Lebanon, two grandchildren, Jeffrey (Heather) Weisenborn and Kimberly Weisenborn and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Hadley Grace Weisenborn. Services will be private. Inurnment will take place in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles Simpson's name to Acclaim Hospice or the .
