HOFFMAN, Rosemary age 85 of Hamilton passed away Friday April 17, 2009 at Birchwood Care Center. She was born December 24, 1923 in Cincinnati the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Cochran) Noll. Mrs. Hoffman assembled timers on bombers during World War II for the Gruen Watch Company and was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. On July 18, 1942 in Cincinnati she married Edward John Hoffman, who preceded her in death May 8, 1982. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by one daughter, Debbi (Garry) Mitchell of Hamilton and one son Robert Paul (Alicia) Hoffman of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Suzanne (Drew) Geiser, Darcy Mitchell, Harley Hoffman, Tater Hoffman, Jillian Hoffman, Robert Paul Hoffman, Jr., KG Hoffman, and Scott Hoffman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and was also preceded in death by a brother Edwin Noll and two sisters Helen Beckman and Patricia Gordley. Visitation at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church 224 Dayton Street, Tuesday April 21, 2009 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Birchwood Care Center and to Hospice of SW Ohio for their compassionate care of Mrs. Hoffman.
