SCHNEIDER, Kenneth J. Age 68, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1940 the son of the late William J. and Wilhelmina (Perpingon) Schneider. He graduated from Hamilton High in 1958. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962. He married Carole S. Zierden on December 6, 1996 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was an electrician for Pillsbury, General Motors and retired from the Ford Motor Company. He volunteered at Mercy of Fairfield and the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed woodcarving and stained glass and he loved to dance. He also was a soccer coach in Fairfield. He is survived by his wife, Carole; nine children, Deanne Hensley and husband Dave of Milford; Andrea (Hall) Callahan and husband Aaron of Finneytown; Margie Schneider and Johnny Walker of Harrison; Audrey Clark and husband Tony of Sharonville; Roni Hyde and husband Richard of Hamilton; Erik Zierden and wife Jenny of Cardington; Loretta Schmidt and husband Dave, Sarah Soberano and husband Mark and Tony Zierden and wife Chris all of Loveland; a brother, Jacque W. Schneider and wife Sara of Dayton; a sister, Victoria Heck and husband Richard of Hamilton; a brother-in-law, Ernie Weiser and wife Doris of Hamilton; the mother of his children, Linda Taylor of Fairfield, and thirty-two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Marjorie Weiser. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield with Father Larry R. Tharp presiding. Private burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton and one hour prior to service at Sacred Heart Church.
