News Death Notice

MOREHEAD, Robert A. 86, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Cincinnati, May 11, 1924, the son of Alan and Lillian Morehead, and was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a Communications Officer on the USS New Orleans. Bob was an Industrial Engineer for Armco Steel for 34 years, working at Fabricating. He was a 30-year member of the Kiwanis Club of Middletown, an avid bowler and golfer, and loved watching birds; he had at one time participated in a program with Cornell University as a birdwatcher. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Morehead; 2 daughters, Julie Terrill and Lisa Lynn Brant; a son, Robert C. (Loretta) Morehead; a granddaughter, Sarah Brant; and a sister, Janet L. Pritchard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Tim Doty officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 5 PM Sunday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Oxford Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the of Cincinnati, 644 Linn Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
