KESLING, Rev. Michael L. 65, of Robinson, IL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2 pm at his residence surrounded by his family. Michael was born in Middletown, OH on March 6, 1947 to William F. and Josephine (Clark) Kesling. Michael was a minister for over 40 years, serving as minister to nine church of the Nazarene faith and three United Methodist Charges for twenty one years. He was a member of Robinson Free Methodist, Robinson, IL, Illinois Great Rivers Conferences; former member of Robinson Kiwanis Club and Robinson Ministerial Alliance; while living in Strasburg, IL Mike served as Town Trustee for three years also a member of the Strasburg Lions Club; Mike loved playing the piano and violin, singing in the church choirs but most of all serving others. He is survived by his wife Anita E. (Ramey) Kesling of Robinson, IL, 2 sons, Michael L. (Sara) Kesling of Evansville, IN and Rayme W. (Amber) Kesling of Beaumont, TX, 2 daughters, Zelia "Cathy" Wood of Robinson, IL and Susan F. Turner of Oblong, IL, 8 grandchildren; Michiala N. Turner and Allyson S. Turner of Oblong, IL, Joz-Lyn M Popplewell/Kesling, Christopher R and Michael J Kesling of Beaumont, TX, Daron (Rhonda) Turner of St. Joseph, IL, Derek (Jennifer) Turner & Devin Turner of Robinson, IL, 2 sisters, BIllie Jo Lewis & Pamela Sue (Gerald) Fornshell of Lebanon, OH, several nieces and nephews as well as Jason, Sammy, Isabella and Addison who were special to PAPA Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Rev. Michael L. Keslings Life will be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at 10 AM at Robinson Free United Methodist Church, Robinson, IL with Ministers Adam Conder, Duane Ambrose and Larry Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Cemetery, Oblong, IL. Arrangements being handled by Pulliam Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be made to www.oblongfuneralhome.com
