James EDDS Obituary
News Death Notice
EDDS, James N. Age 73, of Fairfield, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 7:40AM. He was born in Hamilton on June 17, 1940 to Houston and Senora (Loftice) Edds. James was employed as a truck driver for McLean and ABF Trucking for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961- 1965. He is survived by two sons, Rob Edds of Fairfield and Kevin Roach of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Allyssa Edds and Kayla Roach; two great-grandchildren, Alayna and Gavyn; one sister Mary Nell Cope of Hamilton; and friend, Cathy Washam. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2PM with Pastor Robert Rosenbalm of Fairfield West Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 1PM-2PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
