Lance Loh-Sing Chao was born on August 5, 1928 in Beijing, China. He passed away November 10, 2012 at home in Corcoran. He moved to Corcoran from Davis, California. He worked for J.G. Boswell Company from 1962 to 1983. He did the research, managed the Lab work, quality control of the cotton seed oil and safflower oil. He also helped to solve problems of plant, seeds, water, insects and soil in the ranch until 1983. After he left the company he ran his own business. He opened and operated his Cotton Club Restaurant and bar. He became a substitute teacher and Real Estate Agent in Los Angeles. He was a Sunday school teacher, Bishop's Warden, and Lay Reader in the Episcopal Church. He left behind his wife Ellen, son Andy and his wife Vicky and one grandson David.
Church service will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Epiphany Church.
