Marjorie M. "Nano" (Schmidt) Adams(1918 - 2013)

Marjorie, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Hacienda Healthcare in Hanford, California. She was born to August J. & Mary E. (Ridgeway) Schmidt on July 21, 1918 in Arkansas City, Kansas. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Marjorie retired from Hanford Community Hospital as a Switchboard Operator after 15 years in 1981. Marjorie loved being with her family and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; August & Mary Schmidt, her beloved husband of 32 years in 1988, Jessie Adams.
Marjorie is survived by her loving three loving daughters; Polly Kennedy of Lakewood, California, Georgia Campbell and Julie Gonzales both of Hanford, California. Nano will be truly missed by her 12 precious grandchildren; Cindy Harris, Lisa Rundle, Kellen Hicks, Noelle Hicks, Daniel Kennedy, Mark Kennedy, Florence Kennedy, Cheryl Kennedy, Crystal Aguayo McGuckin, Lindsey Aguayo, Sharen Bird and Shelly Stager. She also leaves behind her 18 wonderful great-grandchildren.
The family would like to especially thank Hacienda Healthcare for the very special care they gave "Nano".
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230, 559-584-5591.
