Naomi Elizabeth Abolt, born in Buena Park, CA passed away on September 22, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was 78 years old and had been a resident of Hanford, CA for more than 40 years. Her parents, Albert and Bertha White preceded her in death. Naomi owned and operated several businesses in Red Bluff and in Hanford CA. She was the owner/operator of Hanford's Downtown Motel for more than 30 years. Naomi was a successful business woman, a generous person with a wonderful heart that was always helping family members. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Hoewing of Pensacola, FL, grandson Sean Hoewing (Major, USMC) living in Hawaii and granddaughter Sara Adams from Orlando, FL and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Vernon, Bud and Philip White and sister Ruth Pitman. She was preceded in death by brothers Paul and David 'Bunny' White and sister Alma Tanem.
She was a loving and generous sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a warm and caring heart. She will be greatly missed.
Viewing with family is at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, 27 September at People's Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Hanford Cemetery at 10 a.m.
