Tony Robert Rubalcava(1924 - 2013)

Tony Robert Rubalcava entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2013. Tony was born on June 7, 1924 to parents Ursulo and Jovita Rubalcava. He was born in Hanford, Ca and attended local schools, at the age of 20 he joined the Navy and was a Seaman Second Class during WWll. He returned to Hanford after he was honorably discharge and married Julia C. Tarango. Tony's greatest accomplishment was being in business with his brother Paul. During his delivery route he made many friends, he enjoyed meeting people and striking a conversation. He was an animal lover, but had a special love for dogs; he is survived by his dog Blackie.
He is survived by his children; Marcus A. Rubalcava Sr., Cynthia M. Posadas, Randy R. Rubalcava, Michael E. Rubalcava, Anthony J. Rubalcava, Manuel U. Rubalcava, Daniel A. Rubalcava, and also his eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his sister Mary Leon.
He was preceded in death by parents Ursulo and Jovita (Anton) Rubalcava, siblings; Julia Miranda, Paul Rubalcava, Catherine "Kay" Perez, and Anita De Santos.
Tony will be greatly missed by his family and friends but comforted that he is now at peace. The family would like to express great appreciation to Denise Cerda for the love and care she provived for her uncle.
There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
