Denise McVay Obituary

Denise Kay McVay, 49, of Hanford passed away in Hanford on July 26, 2011.
She was born March 4, 1962 in San Joaquin, California to Bobby and Nelda McVay. She was employed at Lemoore Naval Base as a housekeeper and worked weekends at Kings County Rehabilitation and Nursing home. She will be deeply missed by her family and everyone who knew and worked with her.
Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of her co-workers and to the Hanford Police Department and Kings County Sheriff's Department for all their hard work and hours spent to solve Denise's case.
She leaves behind her daughter, Natasha McVay of Hanford; her parents, Bobby and Nelda McVay of Corcoran; her boyfriend Joe Nevarez of Hanford; two sisters Dana McVay of Shafter, California and Debbie Rodriguez of Wasco, California; one stepbrother Richard McGowan of Visalia, California; one brother Jerry McVay of Oildale, California; seven nephews, three nieces, three great nieces, one great nephew; many friends and coworkers.
Memorial services will be held at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford, California on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 a 6:30 p.m.

I worked with Denise at ARCO AM/PM. She was a very hard worker, but most important a good friend. I send my thoughts and prayers to all the family as I know them well. I know Denise is looking down on us and saying I'm o.k.

ive worked with denise for a couple of years at Kings Nursing And Rehab Center.Denise was a very kind and sweet and quite lady and a very hard worker.my thoughts and prayers go out to Natasha and family.Rest In Peace Denise.Your in the lords hands now.
