Marilyn Park Myers, 74, passed away 1 May 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born 26 November 1938 in Idaho Falls to William D. Park and Ardella L. Park. The family moved to Mesa, Arizona when Marilyn contracted juvenile arthritis. She obtained a bachelors degree in Education at ASU. She married George S. Myers Jr. 7 July 1961 in the Mesa Arizona Temple and was blessed with eight children. She loved family history and shared stories of her Mormon pioneer ancestors with her children and grandchildren. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served for many years teaching children. Marilyn taught school in NY and CA and worked with the handicapped in UT. Marilyn resided in Ithaca, NY, Flemington, NJ, Alamosa, CO, Clovis, CA, Hanford, CA, Orem and SLC, UT.

Marilyn is survived by her eight children, Sharyl (Rob) Adamson, Salt Lake City, UT; Scott (Marianne) Myers, Williston, VT; Dr. Gordon (Carolyn) Myers, Ventura, CA; James (Laura) Myers, Laton, CA; Suzi (Garry) Wickerd, Clara City, MN; George (Danielle) Myers, South Jordan, UT; Major (S) Janice (Mylan) McDowell USAF, Okinawa, Japan; and Mari Myers, Salt Lake City, UT; six siblings, Bill Park, Bob Park, Jim Park, Doug Park, Bonnie Seegmiller and Sharyn Crouch; and 21 grandchildren. Her parents, her sister, Ruth Hawke, and her grandson, Alexander Adamson, preceded her in death. Services will be held 18 May 2013 in SLC.
