Alice L. Sanchez entered into her eternal rest on January 27, 2014 at Adventist Medical Center, Hanford, after a brief hospital stay. She was 86 years old. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Morgie Sanchez, who passed away a mere six months ago. They would have celebrated 64 years of marriage on December 29, 2013.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her daughter Pauline Smith and husband Marty of Kingsburg and her son David Sanchez and his wife Margie of Hanford.
Her spirit will also live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Smith and his wife Allison, daughters Avery and Harper of Pacific Grove, Rebecca Smith and her fiancé David Barakzai, daughters Annabelle and Charlotte of Fresno, and Angelas Ramos and her partner Joe and daughters Ayden and Ava Joe of Hanford.
She is also survived by brothers, Tino Lopez of Hanford and Hilario "Lalo" Lopez of Oceanside and sister Rosie Luna of Baldwin Park and their spouses and children, and sister-in-law Josephine Valle of Hanford and her children
Alice was a life-long homemaker and enjoyed cooking for all her family. She was a devoted "Auntie Alice" to many of her nieces and nephews during their childhood years. Always a lively and happy person, she was noted for her dazzling smile and dimples. We will have fond memories of the parties held for all and any occasions at her and my father's house.
