Bill Maytubby Obituary

Hanford resident Bill Maytubby, 74, passed away of heart failure complicated by his diabetes at his home Monday, Sept. 13, 2010.

Bill was formerly of Lamont, Calif. He was retired over 40 years service within the banking industry. He will be best remembered for his love for his family and dedication to his job and the community he lived in. His later years were spent taking care of his wife and spending as much time as possible with his 11 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Maytubby; two sons, Dan and Lynnette Maytubby of Frisco, Texas and David and Rebecca Maytubby of Boulder, Colorado; a daughter, Jehri and Kevin Clarke of Clovis; a brother, Morris E. Maytubby of Bakersfield; 11 beloved grandchildren, Colette, Kyle, Annalise, Addison, Layne, Brett, Anne, Emma, Brianna, Eric and Braden; 1 great-grandchild, M'Kenzie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Elsie Maytubby and a brother, John Maytubby.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, Sept. 16 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 55 Shaw Ave., Suite 105, Clovis, CA 93612.
