Danny and I played our guitars together as very young men. Though I haven't seen him since the early 70s, every once in awhile when I'm playing my guitar the memory of us playing together would pop in my mind. I will always remember my kind friend.

I was asked if I knew Danny, and the first thing that popped into my mind was how big he seemed to me when I was 13 years old. Danny had been my friend since the 6th grade. Rest In Peace my Gentle Giant.

I smile every time I think of Danny! In the summer of 1975 Danny would beat on my door or my window late at night wanting to know if he could rent my guitar. He would hand me a big wad of money so he could rent it. I would tell him that he could use it without paying me. Sometimes though, I would take his money just so he wouldn't spend it. It would be there for him when he brought back my guitar. He always brought my guitar back the next day. I still have that guitar and I am proud to know that Danny did what he loved most... He made music with my guitar.
