Deedee Kennell died peacefully at her daughter's home on Sunday, December 16. She was 93 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kennell and daughter, Rebecca Kennell Bronsert. Deedee was a life-long resident of Hanford until two years ago when she moved up to Manchester, California to be near her daughter, Donna Kennell Stornetta.

As a member of the Episcopal Church of the Savior, Deedee managed the soup kitchen for seven years. Other volunteer work included helping out at the gift shop at Central Valley General Hospital, and being involved in the local adult literacy program.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving daughter and son-in-law Walt Stornetta, two grandsons, Lance (Jamie) Stornetta and Justin Stornetta and the joy of her life, great-grandchildren, Mason and Brynn Stornetta.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Hanford. Special thanks to Memorial Hospital, Santa Rosa, California and the Shamli Hospice Program of the Redwood Coast Medical Services.
