Donald Jerry Aduddell, 83 of Hanford, California passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Hanford, California.
Donald was born in Wellington, Texas on April 24, 1929 to Geoffry and Areatha Aduddell. He came to Hanford, California at the age of 20. Donald met and married Betty Jane Monte on July 11, 1952 in San Francisco and the celebrated fifty eight years of marriage before Betty preceded him in death on November 2, 2010. He was self employed as a carpenter for over thirty years. Donald was of Catholic faith. His hobbies included playing Keno and drinking coffee at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Donald loved to tinker on cars, inventing tools that would work when the tools he had wouldn't, and hiking at Lake Tahoe.
Donald was also preceded in death by his parents, Geoffry and Areatha, his son, Mike Aduddell Todd, his brother Bill Aduddell and his sister, Etta French.
Donald leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Donna Arevalo and husband, Manuel of Hanford, CA; Colleen Aduddell and Dave Ieronimo of Lemoore, CA and Michelle Aduddell of Lemoore, CA; Randy Leach of Hanford, CA, who was like a son to Donald; seven grandchildren, Michael Todd, Jr. and wife, Sara, Andrea Pepe and husband, Anthony, Jason Woods, Josh Woods and wife, Antoinette, Joseph Todd and wife, Marybeth, Drew Arevelo and wife, Jamie, and Jarred Woods and wife, Ashley and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 6- 7 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford, California. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Hanford, CA.
