Mr. Edmund "Eddie" Tarin and long time resident of Hanford passed away surrounded by his family Sunday January 6, 2014 in his residence at the age of 63. Eddie was born August 7, 1950 in Hardwick, California to Angelo and Amada Tarin. Eddie attended and graduated from Hanford High School Class of 1968. In 1978 he married the love of his life Irene Borbolla and together settled in Hanford where they raised 3 children. Eddie was a well known self employed farrier through out the Central valley for many years before retiring in 2004. He later worked for California Dept. of Corrections in Avenal, Ca. Eddie was an avid horseman, motorcycle rider and musician. He enjoyed riding cutting horses, his Harley motorcycles, especially his 1981 Shovelhead and playing drums. He also enjoyed reading, attending rodeos, long trips on his motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and good friend. He will be sadly missed.

He is survive by his 3 children, Joe Tarin(Melonie Helmuth) of Hanford; Sam Tarin(Sarah Pippen) of Fresno; a daughter, Anysia Torres of Hanford; 2 brothers, Pete Tarin and wife Margaret of Ontario; Henry "Hank" Tarin and wife Berta of Verde, Arizona, a sister, Lydia Tarin of Tucson, Arizona; 3 grandchildren, Savannah Tarin, Ronnie and Isaac Torres. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Amada Tarin.
A memorial service will be held Friday January 17, 2014, 11:00am at Koinonia Christian Fellowship Church, followed by a private interment. Funeral services are entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia, California.
