Geraldine Heinze Obituary

Longtime Hanford resident Geraldine Heinze, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 18th.

Geraldine was born in 1927 in Greeley, CO, and moved to Fresno as a child. She worked for the state in Labor Law Enforcement for many years before owning Maccagno's Bakery in Hanford with her husband Lawrence Heinze. Upon retiring she has been involved with the Soroptomists, active in the hospital Auxiliary, The Kings Art Center, The Red Hats and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Geraldine was loved dearly by her family and is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence; her two daughters, Kathy Wolf of Orinda, CA and Laurie Mora of Hamilton, MT; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and her brother Kenneth Kaberline of Cayucos, Ca.

Donations in her name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Hanford or the Kings Art Center.

Services will be on Thursday, Sept. 23 with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service. Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, at St. Brigid Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Peters Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Services Chapel in Hanford.
