Lucy Falk Turner Obituary
Lucy was born to Ramon and Marianita Chavarria on June 8, 1924, in Brawley, California.
Lucy moved in her teen years to Kings County, where she met and in 1944 married Fritz Falk. Together Lucy and Fritz worked on their farm in Kettleman City until his death in 1958. Lucy continued to work the farm until 1970.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Fritz Falk and John Turner; daughters, Sharon Falk and Gloria Macias; brothers, Raymond, Mike, Richard, Felix and Jose Chavarria; and her sisters, Santos Guerrero and Connie Acosta.
Lucy is survived by her daughters, Linda Falk of Salinas, California, Judy Falk of Hanford, California, and Susan Falk Savage and her husband Jack; two brothers, Henry Chavarria of Alhambra, California and Rudy Chavarria of Lemoore, California; eight grandchildren, Suzette, Nicole, Todd, Lana, Jason, Jared, Joe and Heath; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty, Hanford.
Funeral Services will be held at People's Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Grangeville Cemetery, Armona, California.
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of California, 4411 N. Cedar Ave #102, Fresno, CA 93726

Lucy was a very special lady. To me, she was a best friend, adopted Aunt (Always called her Aunt Lucy) and was like a second Mother. If ever there was an Earth Angel, Lucy was it. She was a blessing to us all. She had four wonderful daughters, Gloria, Linda, Judy and Susan, and we have been blessed to know them too. I am sure the fine family Lucy has left us, will continue to carry on with her grace, that we have all been blessed by. We are all better people, because we had an Aunt Lucy. May her God given grace be with us all, forever.

To the Falk family....I remember your mom and was sorry to hear of her passing.
I know she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She and your dad were awesome loving, giving, caring people of God.
Our prayers are with you now, as you feel the loss of your precious mama.
May you all feel the love of God embrace you in the coming days ahead.
