Manuel G. Pacheco Jr., 83 of Visalia passed away Wednesday October 3rd, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, one sister, and eldest son Dwayne.

He spent his life as a Dairyman until he retired at the age of 76. Manuel loved his dairy and being his own boss. He was an active member of the Board of Directors of the PPAV Hall in Visalia for 60 years. He enjoyed spending his time with family as a proud father, grandfather, great-grandfather, loyal husband, and devoted friend.
He was born on March 25, 1929 in La Puente, CA and spent most of his life in Visalia, CA. In June of 1949, he married the love of his life, Jane Borges, and they began their family.
Manuel is survived by his spouse of 63 years, Jane, his five children and their spouses, along with eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: Gary & Renee Pacheco, Melvin Pacheco, Suzann & Steve Mallory, Donald & Colleen Pacheco, Michael & Lisa Pacheco, and Dwayne's wife Dale Pacheco. He will be greatly missed.
Visitations will be held Monday, October 8th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Salser & Dillard (127 East Caldwell Avenue Visalia, CA) followed by a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church (508 N Church St Visalia, CA). The funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9th at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow the funeral at the Visalia Cemetery (1300 West Goshen Avenue Visalia, CA). A reception will follow the graveside services and will be held at the PPAV Hall (820 E Main Visalia, CA). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PPAV Scholarship Foundation and George McCann School.
