Raymond Ross Obituary

Raymond Ross passed away on September 7, 2010.

Raymond was born on June 29, 1935 in Los Angeles Ca.

He is preceded in death by his parents Florence and Edward Ross both of Southern California and his eldest son Jeffery Ross of Syracuse NY, and older sister Patricia Bratsch of Southern California.

Raymond grew up in Southern California, Graduating from Tehachapi High School in 1953. In 1954 he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served four years of service until 1959. After leaving military service he attended Cal Poly University in Pomona California, graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management. In 1968 he began working with Contadina Foods, based in Riverbank California.

He and his family then moved to Hanford in 1975 when the Contadina tomato processing plant opened, now currently Del Monte Foods. He retired in December of 1989 as Plant manager.

Raymond is survived by son Mark and wife Kristina Ross of Visalia, Ca, three sons, Kyle, Joseph, and David Ross. Son Brian and wife Debbie Ross of Redmond, Oregon, three sons, Noah, Tyler, Darren and daughter Hailey Ross. Daughter Audrey and husband Lee Bunyard of Hanford, CA, daughter Ashlee and one last grandchild due this spring. Son Jeff's daughters Karey and husband Scott Russo of West Monroe, NY , two daughters Amber and Alanna. Daughter Karrinne Ross of Syracuse, NY. Brother David and wife Linda Ross of Colorado Springs, CO, their kids, Trish, Matthew and Renee. Brother Michael and wife Jeanette Ross of Ceres, CA, their kids, Mandy, Issac and Jason. Brother Ken and wife Jeane Ross of Beaumont, CA , and sister Kate Ross-Mason of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Raymond will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was a beloved son, father, grandpa, and PaPa, to his parents, kids and all of his grandkids.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
