Robert Nicks Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Jay Nicks announces his passing on September 14, 2010. Bob was born in Wyoming on September 9, 1941.

Bob was a business entrepreneur and his life passions were his family, friends, fishing, hunting and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 25 years, his mother, Edna Nicks of Hanford, CA, his two sons, Randy of Gilbert, AZ, Sean of Hanford, CA and his daughter, Marissa Nicks of Tempe, AZ., their spouses Terry Harland, Deborah Nicks and two grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle Nicks.

Bob will lovingly be remembered by all his friends and extended family for his gracious manner and charismatic nature.

Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Mission Valley on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to San Diego Hospice Foundation, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego 92103, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Bless you, Big Bob! You will be in our hearts forever.

Bob will remain in the memory of everyone who knew him because of his charisma and the positive atmosphere he created for all those around him. His good nature and natural friendliness brought him affection from all those who knew him.
