Josephine "Fina" Aguilar passed away in Visalia, California on February 16, 2011 after a long, courageous battle with health issues.

She was born in Van Horn, Texas on January 10, 1924 to Miguel and Jesita Talavera. Josephine and her husband, Eusebio moved with their two young sons to Hanford in 1944 where they established a home. Josephine and Eusebio's four younger children were all born in Hanford.
Josephine was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. Everyone knew her as a special person, with a great sense of humor, who was very social and never passed judgment. Josephine enjoyed talking with her neighbors and loved nature and gardening. She was always cooking for the whole family. "Fido" was her most special dish along with Mac-n-Cheese. Josephine loved to bake, especially birthday cakes. She had a knack for keeping busy even after her children were grown. Her family will miss her so much.
