Born to George and Mabel Taylor on April 26, 1953, George grew up in Hanford, CA. He graduated from Hanford High School in 1971. After high school he enlisted into the United States Air Force, he was a firefighter for Fairfield City, LNAS Crash Fire, and for Kings County Fire Departments. He also enlisted in the California National Guard and was awarded the Medal of Valor for Bravery.
As a young man he sang and music just grew into a passion for him, and it never dissipated. He performed in many bands all over California a performance which left no doubt that the listeners were in the presence of a singing artist. A voice that was filled with such power. Also, known as "Boz" Taylor in the musical community. He could talk to anybody about anything. He enjoyed himself in any number of situations. And, from the hearts of his children "Until we meet again, rest in peace daddy."
