Mary M. Rodrigues-Silva of Lemoore passed away Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 surrounded by her family at the age of 89 years. Mary was a native of Visalia. She attended Visalia High School and COS where she achieved her A.A. degree. When she completed college Mary worked as a Medical Assistant and Bookkeeper. She married Frank Rodrigues and started their life in the Delta View area as dairy farmers for 22 years, where they raised their 4 children. They later moved to Lemoore and continued farming. She then married Albino Silva in 1994 and they enjoyed their retirement years traveling together with many visits to the coast. Mary enjoyed music, dancing, word puzzles, reading and working in her garden. She also was very active in the Portuguese Lodges and Cabrillo Club for many years. Mary lived a long, happy and full life enjoying her family.

Mary is survived by 2 sons; Leonard Rodrigues and wife Yvonne of Manteca and James Rodrigues and wife Kathleen of Visalia, 2 daughters; Evalena "Evie" Garcia and husband Raymond of Lemoore and Cathlene Howard and husband Perry of Lemoore, 1 brother; Joe Mendonca of Visalia, 2 sisters; Rose Neves and Madeline Mendonca both of Visalia, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will begin Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with interment following in Lemoore Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to the
