EVARTS — Anna Brewer Davis, 69, of Evarts went home to be the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2014, at her home following a long illness. Born February 3, 1945 in Harlan County, she had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glen "Bob" Davis; her parents, Spurgeon Charles Brewer and Ethel Mae Hibbard Brewer; and two sisters, Juanita Wallace and Phyllis Andrews.
Survivors include three children, Glen Davis and wife, Lisa, Hendersonville, NC; Tim Davis, Evarts; Pam Messer and husband, Scott, Canton, NC; four sisters, Theda Bryant, Miamisburg, OH; Doris Jewell Hall, Fairborn, OH; Lois Ellen Abbott, Springfield, OH; Sylvia Marie "Poochie" Davidson, Loveland, OH; and two brothers, Ralph "Pete" Brewer, Somerset, KY; and Carl Eric "Sunny" Brewer, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Misty Hodge, Carrie Dean, Craig Messer, Nick Messer, Jasmann Messer; three great-grandchildren, Keira Hodge, Tanner and Camden Dean; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2014, from 1 until 3 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Friday with the Reverend Bill Moore, the Reverend Don Johnson and Craig Messer officiating.
