James Cornett

BLEDSOE — James Ralph Cornett, age 73, of Bledsoe, KY passed away February 18, 2014 at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born March 6, 1940 at the Pine Mountain Hospital, Bledsoe, KY to the late Jess and Sally Wilder Cornett. He was employed in the coal industry as a drill operator. He believed in the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Clayton and Mike Cornett, and a granddaughter, Jamie Farley.

He is survived by his children: Donna (Oscar) Farley of Bledsoe, KY, Jennifer (Doyle) Smith of London, KY, and Mabel Saylor of London, KY; grandchildren: Chris, Tim, Devan, Ryan, Kyle, Shelby, and Bradon Farley, Sally Barnes, Thomas Smith, Ginger Coots, Michael Lee and Briann Cornett; great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Parker, and Skye Farley, Jacob Coots, and Braelynn Cornett; one sister, Mabel Saylor, of London, KY.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12 to 2PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 2PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Percy Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Farley Cemetery, Bledsoe, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
