Linda Lewis

TAYLORSVILLE — Mrs. Linda Kay Lewis, age 61 of Taylorsville, formerly of Harlan County, Ky., passed away at her residence on the 14th of June, 2014.

Mrs. Lewis was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A former teacher for the Spencer and Jefferson County Schools Systems.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Lewis (Connie) of Stanton, Ky., Wesley Lewis and Bobby Lewis (Danielle), both of Taylorsville. Her mother, Reva Harper of Indianapolis, Ind. Sisters, Joyce Hensley (Gary) of Benham, Ky. and Sue Robson (Jim) of Roxboro, NC. Brothers, Johnny Rogers of Cumberland Ky., Bob Rogers, of Benham, Ky., and Curtis Rogers, of Indianapolis, Ind. Seven grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father John Rogers, her husband Walter Lewis and her son Tyce Lewis.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville with Bro. Bob Sutton officiating.

Interment in Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, Ky.

Funeral services were entrusted to the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home at Resthaven.
