Lonnie Couch

AGES — Lonnie Couch, Sr., 74 of Ages went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday Oct. 16, 2013 at the Hazard ARH.

Lonnie was born to the late Harrison and Eliza Jane Williams Couch in Letcher Co., KY. He was a retired coal miner with over 33 years of service, after retirement he worked for Securex as a security guard at the mines. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Ages Church of God Mountain Assembly.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Couch, Jr; sisters, Cora Mae Halcomb and Daisy Perry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Harrison Couch of Ages; 2 sons, Lonnie (Mary) Couch of Ages and Jamie (Rae Ann) Couch of Harlan; 5 grandchildren, Christy (Andy) Beinhorn, April (Will) Saylor, Lonnie H. (Autumn) Couch, III, Justin Couch and Adam Couch; 2 great grandchildren, Mason Saylor, Zoey Couch, and 1 on the way Jocelyn; 1 brother, Willie Couch of Ages and 1 Special Nephew who was raised as his brother, Donald Jackson of Somerset; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Friday Oct. 18, 2013 at the Ages Church of God, Mountain Assembly.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday Oct. 19, 2013 at the church with Rev. Donnie Harrison and Rev. Tommy Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens at Verda.

Lonnie Couch, III, Justin Couch, Adam Couch, Robert Hensley, Chris Perkins, Andy Beinhorn, Will Saylor, Brandon Perkins, Dustin Perkins, and Matt Rainey will serve as Pallbearers.
