Shirley Kelly

RIO VISTA — Shirley Helton Kelly, 67, of Rio Vista passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side. Born May 23, 1946 in Harlan County. She graduated from Harlan High School class of 1964, she worked at Rhonda's Merle Norman for 24 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Loyall.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Sellers Ellis; her grandmother, Della Gordon Sellers.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 44 years, Fred Kelly, Rio Vista; two daughters, Kim Kelly, Franklin, TN and Kristie Nolan and husband Randy, Rio Vista; one brother, Johnny Helton and wife Rose, Clay City, KY; special cousins, Mary Ann Roark and husband Conley and Brenda Davis and husband Tuffy, both of Lexington, KY; and a very special friend Rhonda Howard, Baxter.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Lauren Wood and husband Chad, Seth Nolan, Ivan Emrich and Sarah Nolan; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Max Wood.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Loyall with a memorial service starting at 4 p.m. with Dr. Roy Lucas and Reverend Nicky Noe officiating.
