EVARTS — Randall "Randy" Middleton, 49, of Evarts, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the University of Kentucky Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born December 7, 1964 in Harlan County, Randy had lived here all of his life. He was a coal miner with 25 years of experience. Randy was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Michelle Middleton, Evarts; two sons, Jacob Randall Middleton and wife, Victoria, Evarts; and Robert Olan Middleton, Evarts; parents, Howard and Phyllis Middleton, Evarts; one brother, Scott Middleton and wife, Liz, Wallins; and one sister, Lora Murphy and husband, Mike, Cumberland.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Isabella Fawn Middleton and Tucker Alan Middleton; one unborn grandchild Lucy Middleton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Carolyn Middleton, Evarts; sister-in-law, Allison Harrison and husband, Danny "Bo" Harrison, Evarts nieces and nephews, Rachel Lunsford and husband, Tommy; C.J. Middleton, Shayna Middleton, Dalton Middleton, great-nephews, Tyler Lunsford and Toby Lunsford; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5 until 8 PM at the Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 11 AM at the Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Rodney Freeman and Associate Pastor William Kelly officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family, friends and men of the church serving as pallbearers.
