KENVIR — Hubert Reynolds, 85, of Kenvir, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 11, 1928 in Ages, he had lived here all of his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Hubert worked as a truck driver in both the coal and logging industry. He was a member of the Yocum Masonic Lodge # 897.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Reynolds and Clercy Stokes Reynolds; and two brothers, Frank and Elmer Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Alene Tomlinson Reynolds, Kenvir; three children, Sherry Jones and husband, Terry, Georgetown, KY; Mack Reynolds and wife, Deidre, of Nashua, NH; and Terry Tramel and husband, David, Georgetown, KY; two brothers, Don Reynolds, North Carolina; and Billy Reynolds, La Grange, KY; and one sister, Gladys Stout, Tennessee.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 16, 2014, from 11 AM until 1 PM in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with the Reverend Bill Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites preformed by the Yocum Masonic Lodge #897 and Military rites by the Harlan Honor Guard.
The Harlan Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.
