CUMBERLAND — Donald N. Jenkins, age 69 of Cumberland, KY, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at his residence. He was born on November 21, 1944 in Partridge, KY to the late Newton Jenkins and Glessie Maggard Jenkins Dixon. Donald was a retired employee of Chrysler and believed in the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James L. Creech.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Brieana Rose Jenkins of Cumberland; son, Michael Grubb of Michigan; sisters, Joyce (Donald) Bates of Oklahoma, Janice (Jack) Schubert of Florida, and Millie (Jim) Flanary of Michigan; granddaughter, Destiny Grubb; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY on Saturday, January 18, 2014, between 5 – 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church in Patridge, KY on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2 pm with the Reverend Ron Oplinger officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery in Partridge, KY.
David Ellis, David Morris, John Falls, Lester Halcomb, Brian Falls, and Leon Lewis will serve as pallbearers.
