Randy Lefevers Obituary
CLOSPLINT — Randy Dewayne "Jack" Lefevers, 54, of Closplint, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Born July 15, 1961, he had lived in Harlan County all of his life. He was a coal miner for 26 years then a substitute bus driver for the Harlan County School System. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler in the mountains, working in his garage, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is preceded in death by father, Bill Jack Lefevers.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Caudill Lefevers, Closplint; his mother, Janice Owens Lefevers Wynn, and step-father, Bruce Wynn, Farmers Mill; two sons, Mark Dewayne Lefevers, Georgetown, KY; Erik Jack Lefevers, Closplint; a grandchild, Carly Lefevers; one sister, Lisa Creech and husband, Tracy, Bledsoe, KY; two brothers, Bill Lefevers and wife, Melanie, Chuckie, TN; Tim Lefevers and wife, Kim, Closplint; a step-brother, Kelly Wynn, Fort Lauderdale, FL; and a special brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Debbie Bush.
Also surviving are two special nieces, Rachel Stanton and Jessica Middleton, whom he loved like a daughter; three special great-nieces, Rachel Bush, Kelsie and Kinley Middleton; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends, including a special friend, Casey White Pugh.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015, in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Greg Eldridge and the Reverend Frank Howard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
