HARTFORD CITY – B. Kay Tat-man, 64, of Hartford City, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Kay was born to Hugh and Dorothy Ozell (Weaver) McAdams on August 4, 1949, in Lexington, Tenn.
She graduated from Hartford City High School in 1967.
On September 11, 1970, she married Bill Tatman Jr.
Kay was a homemaker and had worked for eight years at Val's Department Store, Hartford City, and for five years at RCA, Marion.
She loved going to rummage sales, painting, crafting, collecting Raggedy Anns and spoiling her grand babies.
Those missing her dearly are two daughters, Wendy Stiles, of Hartford City, and Stephanie (Rob) Hess, of Hartford City; three grandchildren, Savannah Stiles, Tyler Stiles and Brady Hess; one brother, Larry McAdams, of Hartford City; one sister, Linda (Wayne) Smith, of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City, with Pastor Steve DeLisle officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday.
