FISHERS – Donald "Don" E. Willman, 80, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013.

Don was born on July 30, 1932, in Hartford City, to the late George A. and Nellie Leach Willman.

He graduated from Hartford City High School in 1950 and Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1954, where he earned a business degree and rode in the first Little 500.

Don also served his country in the United States Air Force as a pilot from 1954-57.

Don retired from GMAC Dealer Finance Services in 1992 after 35 years of employment.

He was always active in his family's Hoosier Home-stead Farm (owned by the same family for over 150 years) and at his passing was the co-owner of Willman Brothers Farm, Hartford City.

Don was active in his church as a long-time member and council member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Indianapolis.

He also attended Servants of Christ Lutheran Church, Indianapolis.

Don is survived by his sons, Gregory C. (Karen) Willman and Jeffrey A. (Carol) Willman; brother, George E. Willman; companion, Sharon Bird; five grandchildren, Jackie, Kaylee, Adam, Beau and Drew.

Don's first wife, Darla Willman, second wife, Joanne Willman, brother, Earl Willman, and sister, Sara Willman, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 8, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Servants of Christ Lutheran Church, 7650 Oaklandon Rd., Indianapolis, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
