HARTFORD CITY – Donald J. "Boggie" Coulter, 80, of Hartford City, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

He was born in Hartford City on July 14, 1933, to the late Louis B. Coulter Sr. and to the late Mary J. (Carvill) Coulter.
Donald married Christina "Chris" (Michael) Coulter in 1971. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2002.
He formerly ran Glenn & Bogg's Bar on the corner of Washington and Walnut streets, Hartford City. He retired from St. Joe Container Company, Hartford City.
He served in United States Army from 1955 to 1957.
Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and being an outdoorsman. More recently he loved playing Texas Hold'em.
He was a member of Moose Lodge and AMVETS.
He had formerly attended St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Hartford City, in his youth.
Donald will sadly be missed by his three daughters, Leslie Ann Miller, of Hartford City, Mindy Sue (husband, Tyler) Brewer, of Marion, and Tina Marie (husband, Jason) Faltisco, of Brownstown; one son, Donald Eli (wife, Stacci) Coulter, of Hartford City; eight grandchildren, Steve (wife, Carrie) Weaver, Jennifer (friend, Derek Schwartz) Fennell, Tyanne (fiancé', Dustin Bock-over) Brewer, Reace Cavanaugh, Ryan Faltisco, Macy Faltisco, Miley Faltisco and Ryder Faltisco; one great-grandchild, Kenzie Weaver; one sister, Bernadette (husband, Bill) Minniear, of Huntington; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, five sisters, Nellie Heath, Daisy Selvey, Mary Snyder, Natalie Beckley, Clara Bisel, and two brothers, Louis B. Coulter Jr., and Lawrence "Boggie" Coulter.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Keplinger Funeral Home.
