HARTFORD CITY – Donna Ruth Hayworth, 78, of Hartford City, passed away at 7:24 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

She was born in Muncie on December 22, 1935, to the late Harry F. Williams and the late Reba Lucille (Brewington) Williams.
Donna graduated from Central High School, Muncie, in 1953.
She married Bernard "Bernie" L. Hayworth Sr. on October 24, 1959, in Muncie. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1987.
Donna retired from BRC in 2003 after 11 years of employment.
She was a member of Calvary Christian the Lighthouse Church, Hartford City, and a member of the Lighthouse Small Group.
Donna enjoyed word search books, solitaire and game shows.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Vonda J. (husband, Rick L. Sr.) Cooper, of Eaton, Reba M. (husband, Robert) Decker, of Dunkirk, and Ginger L. (companion, Michael Bryant) Bell, of Montpelier; one son, Bernard "Bernie" L. (friend, Shane Shoemaker) Hayworth Jr., of Hartford City; 12 grandchildren, Danielle M. Barley, Hunter Shatto, Joshua Cooper I, Ricky L. Cooper Jr., Janet L. Cooper, Kyle Darnell, Summer Tungate, Robbie Decker, Blaine Reid, Nakya Ramseyer, Brandon Hayworth and Jessica Hayworth; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (husband, James) Privett, of Muncie, and Carolyn (husband, Elmer) Johnson, of Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, Andy Darnell, two brothers, Fred Williams and David Williams, and one sister, Phyllis Williams.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City, with Pastor Troy Kaufman and the Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2014, and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Keplinger Funeral Home.
