JAMESTOWN – Martin Wyn Brown, 77, of Jamestown, died early Thursday morning, July 3, 2014, at Danville Regional Rehabilitation.

He was born on July 3, 1937, in Miami County and was the son of the late Gordon & Winnie (Smith) Brown.
Martin was a press operator for Corning Glass, Bluffton, for 20-plus years. He retired in 2000 from Bluffton Rubber Company.
He enjoyed playing country music and being with his family.
After retirement Martin enjoyed being a door greeter at Brownsburg Walmart.
Martin is survived by two daughters, Silva Chamberlan, of Ohio, and Laura Edwards, of Jamestown; one son, Erick Brown, of Churubusco; one grandson, Terry Goodpaster, of Burlington, Iowa; three brothers. Homer (Karen) Brown, of Kokomo, Joseph Brown, of Peru, and Gordon (Nancy) Brown, of Murray, Utah; one sister, Wilma Secaur, of Fort Wayne.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Betty Brown, in May of 2013, one brother, Howard Brown, and two sisters, Mariel Neff and Louise Cain.
Funeral services for Martin will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, with Pastor Coleman Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 6.
