Anthony "Tony" Albani, 79, of West Hartford, formerly of New Britain, husband of Lena (Tarascio) Albani, died Monday (October 29, 2001). Born in Floridia Province of Siracusa Italy, son of the late Gaetano and Pasqualina (Matarazzo) Albani. He had lived in New Britain most of his life prior to moving to West Hartford five years ago. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony G. "Tony" and Sharon (Dube) Albani; a daughter and son-in-law, Carmine Albani and Tom Waicunas, all of Newington; two grandchildren, Meagan and Shannon Albani; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Attilio and Barbara Albani of West Hartford, John and Anna Albani of Pampano Beach, FL; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina Albani, Carmen and Santo LaRosa, Maria Rafaniello, all of West Hartford and Lucy and Tony Longo of Wethersfield; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, 9 a.m. from the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook St., Rocky Hill, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 195 South Main St., New Britain. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Uncle Tony, I will miss seeing you will your brother and sisters having lunch on saturdays. Although you are gone, I'm sure you will still be there with them in spirit.We will all miss you very much. Love you, your niece Diana
