Daddy, it's been a whole year since we laid you to rest. Not a day goes by that you are not missed.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you did not go alone
A part of me went with you the day God took you home
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane
I'd walk my way to heaven and bring you back again
In life I loved you Daddy and in death I love you still, in my heart
You hold a place that no one can ever fill.
I love you always and forever....Kay Kay

A letter to Daddy,
Well Dad its been 1 month since you were called to rest and I must say I really really miss you. I miss all of our HGTV nights when we would stay on the phone and talk about which house they should pick or what they should do to make it beter. I miss sending you text messages with pictures and funny things that I thought you would get a kick out of.. then calling you and laughing about it. I would say... why dont you learn to text me back and you would say... cause I didnt take typing in school (smile) I miss shopping at Pier1 and Homegoods with you whenever you were in town. (you had such good taste) I also miss your calls when you would say... hey Shell get on your computer and do that google thing you told me about.. you would have me lookup cars, houses for sale that you wanted your brother to buy, obituaries of classmates that had gone before you and phone numbers so you could call and give your condolences(smile) and other things that you felt were important at the time. I miss being able to talk to you about anything in the world and you always telling me... Dont worry its a little thing to a giant. Dad, even though I miss you more than this post can ever capture I am THANKFUL.. thankful that I had a great relationship with you, thankful that you made sure you let me know that no matter what you loved me and you loved me unconditionally. I am thankful that you taught me to be strong, and you taught me that there's no such thing as limits.. I can do anything as long as i put my mind to it. I am also thankful for all of your knowledge and wisdom that you took the time to pass down to me. You taught me about loyalty, family, finances, love, and you even gave me info on the "players game" You were real and it was what it was and you didnt sugar-coat life. For all of that Daddy I am so thankful! You were okay with death and you knew it was a part of life. Even though you went suddenly and unexpectadly you prepared me and for that... again I am truly thankful. Well Dad, Im going to stop this letter... notice I didnt say end.... and thats because I will continue when we meet again. Love you Forever! Your Daughter and as you would say... My Twin... Shell

Karen&Shelley;
Iwant to say I am deeply saddened by the news that Eddie has passed away. I didn't Get the chance to see him when he was here in CT with Ann while Lester was ill. I want you both to know that you are in my prayers and thoughts right now. Eddie was always smiling&making me laugh. I will miss him- he was a good man&great friend&father. He always spoke about the two of you especially& I know how very proud he was of his girls. I still remember hqnging our with all of you at Ann's house&I always enjoyed those times. Please find comfort I'm knowing that Eddie is a man that always left a lasting impression on everyone's heart&he will always be one of the great ones in my memories.
