Frank Calvo, 79, of Berlin, and West Palm Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on April 25 in Florida. Born in Hartford on January 17, 1934, he was the son of Antonio Calvo and Anna Malinguaggio Calvo. Frank was a devoted husband of 40 years to his wife Gail Calvo who was the love of his life and he her rock. He leaves behind his daughter Marisa Calvo of Colchester and her wife Stacy Hagopian and his son Anthony Calvo of West Palm Beach, FL and his wife Sharon; his stepsons Larry Fazio of Burlington and his wife Kim, Joseph Fazio of Wethersfield and his wife Louisa. Also, he leaves beloved grandchildren, Frank Calvo, Vinny and Val Fazio and Avery and Logan Fazio. He is survived by his sister Angie Brancato and husband Tony; brother-in-law Louis Garavelli and predeceased by his brother Paul Calvo. He served his country proudly in the Air Force during the Korean War. His engineering career encompassed varied energy management positions including construction and plant management, including HVAC. His intellect and sense of humor will he remembered by all of those whose lives he touched. Painting and carving were among his many artistic talents, but he really loved playing his guitar. Frank will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
