George E. Brown, III, 65, of New Britain, beloved husband of Sandra (Belleson) Brown, died Monday (December 2, 2002). Born in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Alice (Mason) Brown, Jr., he lived most of his life in New Britain. He was employed as a master toolmaker of BHS Torin Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Brown was a Past District Commander of the American Legion and Past Commander of Holcomb, Woods, Budaj American Legion # 199. Long life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 8 of New Britain Chapter # 8, member of Connecticut Rolling Flags Inc, Gold Wing Touring Association as well as life member of NRA. He was a veteran of the US Air force during the Korean Conflict. Besides his wife, he leaves behind two sons and a daughter-in-law, George E. Brown, IV and Margaret Brown and Scott Chamberland, all of New Britain; four daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Steven Nethercott of Stafford Springs, Marlene Brown of Bristol, Michelle and Melvin Luchuck of Canton, OH, and Joyce and Jim Keyes of New Britain; two sisters, Patricia Munson of Port Charlotte, FL, Linda Harris of Manchester, William Brown of Plainville, Herbert Brown and Francis Brown from Naples, FL. Mr. Brown leaves 14 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. from the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook St., Rocky Hill Followed by burial with Military Honors in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.
